Since the reunion to perform at the Coachella Festival, all the biggest festivals pretend to announce just one band… Rage Against The Machine, the 2008 favourite headliner for all the main festivals in the world but only a few can have them! Optimus Alive!08 is proud to present the most explosive band of all times - Rage Against The Machine, live for the joy of the thousands of fans in Portugal. On July 10th at Passeio Marítimo de Algés in Oeiras - Lisbon, Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk will make the audience jump frenetically. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE BACK AT PINKPOP 2008

It was recently announced that Pinkpop has booked Rage Against The Machine to perform at the famous Pinkpop Festival in 2008. They have performed here before and everytime has been a very spectacular performance, here’s what they posted on the Rage Against The Machine website!

Pinkpop has booked the final act they dreamed about. When it was announced that Rage Against The Machine were reunited at the famous Coachella Festival in America, all the European festivals applied pressure to get this spectacular act to their stages, too. Heavy lobbying by Rock Am Ring and Pinkpop had been a success. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE are back! After a long absence the band with Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello - who appeared solo at Pinkpop last year - Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk are back to match their legendary performances of 1993, 1994 and 1996. Well we finished the beta #4 for vietnow.org with a good deal of updates this time! I’ll list all of the new features and updates below.

 Updates

* Uploaded the knew News box, post your opinions here!
* Uploaded new banner, it does not stretch like before, post opinions here!
* Uploaded the new set of tabs, added “Blog” tab.
* Added the Vietnow.org Blog to the website.

Coming Updates

* Shop Template - I’m going to upload just plain template to begin sales just until I finish store template 100%
*Media page - We will be starting and finishing that within 10 days.
* Discography - We will begin the hardest part so far, the disco page will begin this week.
* Banner on every page will be shortened like homepage one unless for some reason we decide to go back to long bar.

This weekend it looks like Rage Against The Machine released a brand new look to their website, completely different this time. It has many new features and even brought back the message board. The site is a huge upgrade from their old one and turned out very nice, now why would they make a brand new website if their not completely back…or are they?

Go check out their new site though it’s a cool site and the people at the message board are pretty friendly, their message board is already full of vietnow.org members…glad to see that!

Hello everybody,

 Well as you can see I just launched out new blogging system from Wordpress. It’s not completely finished but here’s the first beta of it just so people can start using it.

I’ll update this blog with some of the most recent Rage Against The Machine news like their Japan Tour, Australia Concerts and maybe a few more will be posted. And of course any knew news that gets announced. All mods that wish to have posting permission just let me know and I’ll let ya be able to post.
